Throughout the summer of 89 through to 1990 and into 1991, Myself and a group of friends aka The Chaos Clan would experience a musical and cultural journey like many others around the country, searching for something different than the normal !
Illegal parties, raves and gatherings sprung up all around our local area in Folkestone and surrounding villages, with psychedelic nights held in "sweatbox" venues such as "Bottoms", "Heroes", "The Labour Hall", "Toffs" and "The Soundhouse". Hazy memories of open-air all-nighters down at "The Zig-Zag path and Toll Road", also at the bottom of the Whites Cliffs of Dover and larger venues such as "The Metronome" have stayed with me.
During these times, life changing expereinces were had and friendships were formed... which have lasted to this day....
This 3 hour mix is a journey through the sounds of that time, a personal selection of tracks played by the Room 6 lads.... Jeff, DJ TNT, Deckstalker, Mr G along with fav's of that era played by myself and Gary C aka "G-Force".
Of course this mix isn't a comprehensive list, its simply tracks that I remember from the time... tracks that got played in
